Assessor Training / For your ATCOs

Learn to assess. Then be assessed.

The assessor endorsement in two to four days, taught live by a Lektor instructor over video, with the competence assessment at the end.

For controllers who will assess the competence of students and licensed ATCOs, in operational and academy environments. Open to ATSEPs and AFISOs as well. The course covers the European controller competence regulations, the principles of assessing competence, and the techniques and good practice of the role.

Theoretical and practical modules run over videoconference with a professional instructor: discussions, presentations, virtual table-top exercises and case studies. Participants take an active role throughout. The competence assessment at the end runs over the same link.

Who is it for?
ATCOs who will carry out competence assessments of students and experienced controllers. Participants with other aviation qualifications, such as ATSEPs and AFISOs, are welcome.
How is it delivered?
Fully online, in two to four days. Theoretical and practical modules are delivered by a professional instructor over videoconference: discussions, presentations, virtual table-top exercises and case studies. Participants have a very active role.
How is it scheduled?
Around the customer's needs. The course is remote, so the number of seats on it is, in practice, unlimited.
How is competence assessed?
At the end of the course, over the same videoconferencing link.
What happens after?
A Training Certificate stating the Assessor endorsement, for the application under (EU) 2015/340.
