Lektor ATCO Basic / For your learners

One student ready? That is your intake.

The full ATCO Basic course, online and self-paced: around 100 study hours, over 50 ATC games, certified under (EU) 2015/340.

ATCO Basic is the course every controller takes first, and the entry ticket to rating training. Lektor delivers it entirely online: the theory, the quizzes and the exams at each stage, and the practice on the T3 Simulator inside the same path, so a student reads a chapter and then runs the exercise it describes.

The course starts when the student is ready and runs until the standard is met. Some take longer, some are faster. Graduates hold the same qualification as from any other certified route.

  • The traditional Basic content, delivered on the Lektor platform.

  • Unlimited runs on the T3 Simulator, with a score on every one.
  • Runs on any device, so study fits around a job or a shift.

Certified under (EU) 2015/340.

The course meets the (EU) 2015/340 requirements and is approved by Traficom, Finland's competent authority, as part of Lektor's training organisation certificate. Graduates need exactly the same skills as from any other certified route. Only the method and the tools changed.

An instructor when one is needed.

Students set their own pace and keep full control of their progress. Lektor's instructors follow the record in the background and step in when a student is stuck.

Useful beyond the ops room.

Other ANSP staff take the same course to understand air traffic management essentials. The course can be adapted to a workforce's needs, and online delivery means two students or two hundred is the same course.
